A hood on a cardigan you never close

The Charlotte is a long, oversized knit with a hood and an open front that has nothing to fasten. The sleeves are ribbed and full, wide enough to push back to the elbow when a room gets warm. The body runs to mid-thigh and falls straight from a dropped shoulder, with deep pockets at the front. Pull the hood up and it stops being a cardigan and starts behaving like outerwear. Over jeans and a plain top it is the entire outfit.
