Gold buttons up both sides of the hem

The Luisa is a knit with a proper collar and an open V at the throat, cut to go over a shirt so the collar underneath still shows. Rows of gold-tone buttons run up both side seams from the ribbed hem, and that is the detail that turns a plain sweater into something dressed. The shoulders drop and the sleeves run long into a ribbed cuff. It sits straight through the body rather than close to it. Over a white shirt and light trousers it needs nothing else at all.
