The Meg is a soft knit cardigan worked in cable and diamond panels, with a V-neck and gold-tone buttons running down the front. The sleeves are full through the arm and gather into a ribbed cuff, and there are pockets set into the side seams. The hem dips a little at the front, which stops the whole thing sitting like a straight box. It falls just past the hip. Buttoned over a plain top it works as a knit in its own right.
